One of the greatest mexican novels of the twenty century is Los Recuerdos del Porvenir (Memories from the future) by Elena Garro. A foundation of the latin magical realism genere. This cover proposal (a free and personal exercise) features elements from both the beginning and the ending of the novel: the train entering Ixtepec and statue-turned Isabel, reflecting her’s and the town’s melancholy.
