Life, for some reason, brought me to Logroño, the capital of La Rioja region in Spain. A place well know for their wine and vineyards. The start of grape harvest season is signaled by the San Mateo’s celebrations in late september, the city’s biggest fiesta.

I entered the poster design contest for the 2024 celebrations with this submission, that depicts a sweet Bacchus pouring wine al over Logroño and their people carrying al the wine paraphernalia stuff you could imagine. I didn’t won but I really liked this illustration to show my appreciation to this lovely place.
