Neto Medina is a mexican illustrator, designer and comics artist. Born in Merida, Mexico, designer by profession and cartoonist by passion. He graduated as a graphic designer from the Universidad Marista de Merida in 2018 and also has a master degree in Comic and Illustration from the Elisava School in Barcelona in 2023. Specialized in illustration with an emphasis on the editorial, publishing, cultural and branding fields. His work is a combination of traditional media and digital details and is inspired by the nostalgia, the satire, slice of life and living in the city. Currently based in Logroño, Spain.

He has been awarded in 2021 the PECDA grant from the government of the state Yucatan and the Ministry of Culture in the visual arts category. Also, in 2023, he received the SACPC Jovenes Creadores grant in the category of visual narrative. His work has been featured in projects and media like The Barcelonian, La Jornada, Sofar Sessions, FILEY, Mexibrits Projects and in different cultural and editorial endeavors in both Mexico and Spain.
