Digital graphic novel set in the late 1950’s Mérida, Mexico. The story follows a group of young boys who wonder about the mysterious orchard on the town borders and the people living in them.
It’s a small tale about the presence of chinese migration in Yucatán and their influence in our lives.
This project was made with a grand from the Program of Stimulus to the Artistic Creation and Development (PECDA in spanish) 2021. Selected by the ministry of culture of both the governments of the state of Yucatán and Mexico.
Novela gráfica digital ambientada en la Mérida de finales de la década de 1950. Narra la historia de un grupo de muchachos a los que les causa curiosidad la misteriosa huerta que ubica a las afueras de la ciudad y la gente que la habita. Es un pequeño cuento sobre la presencia de la migración china en Yucatán y su influencia.
Este proyecto fue hecho gracias a un estimulo del Programa para el Estimulo a la Creación y Desarrollo Artístico (PECDA) 2021. Otorgado por las secretarías de cultura del estado de Yucatán y de México.
